I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching at the 2018 Pinner Conference that will be taking place at the Cobb Galleria Centre April 27 & 28, 2018. After reviewing examples of classes that have been hosted at Pinners Conferences in the past, it was clear to see that they did not have a shortage of lettering/calligraphy classes! That’s when I knew I wanted to take this opportunity to teach something I have yet to do in an in-person class format: wood signs.
Holy cow is this going to be an undertaking but I am so excited! I’ve decided to specifically teach how to create a 10x10 inch hand-lettered “home sweet home” wood sign. The signs will all be pre-stained for the students so that we don’t have to deal with the super messy & inconvenient part of the process.
Here’s how the Pinners Conference works! If you’re interested in attending the conference and walking around to see all the lovely booths that are setup, you only have to pay a ticket for admission (which is $8, SWEET). However, this ticket does not grant you admission to the class areas. If you want to sit-in on certain classes that will be taking place, you have a couple of options for your tickets:
One Day Conference Pass: Admission to 2 Classes - $19
One Day Conference Pass: Admission to ALL Classes - $29
Two Day Conference Pass: Admission to ALL Classes - $49
I should also mention that certain classes (including mine) charge a materials fee for a kit that you will be given to KEEP & turn into a beautiful craft! At this time, my materials fee will be $30 and will cover a 10x10 inch PRE-stained wood sign, a white pencil, a paint pen, an eraser, a mini wood signs booklet, and a sawtooth hanger for hanging your beautiful creation when you’re done!
You will be learning the skills to hand-letter a wood sign with the phrase “Home Sweet Home” on it during my 60-minute class slot. Since you will be free-handing the sign, you have the ability to draw the design in any way that you choose! I will be giving you guidance for creating your design and lettering it onto the wood. Everyone’s signs will end up slightly different based on their handwriting and design preferences, which is what makes this such a FUN do-it-yourself craft and project.
If you purchase the one-day conference pass w/ admission to 2 classes, plus pay the materials fee for my class, you are paying $49 for learning this beautiful craft straight from me! AND the best part is, you actually have the chance to save 10% off your ticket to the Atlanta Pinners Conference with the coupon code ELISAANNE (not case sensitive) at checkout. That means you would get admission to the conference, plus admission/materials for my class for LESS than $49!
Just so you know, the only other teaching opportunity I’m offering for my hand-lettered wood signs right now is in the form of a Private YouTube Series. It’s 9 different videos that add up to 3+ hours of content, but it does cost $149 when it’s not on sale; and you’re not learning from me in person… So, if you’re in GA and you’ve been curious about making hand-lettered wood signs, this is your chance to learn it directly from me at a fraction of the cost. And, not gonna lie, having all the materials set up and provided for you is going to be amazing!
Use my code ELISAANNE for 10% off your ticket to the Atlanta Pinners Conference!
