I’m Teaching at the Alanta, GA Pinners Conference! CLASS: Hand-Lettered Home Sweet Home Sign

I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching at the 2018 Pinner Conference that will be taking place at the Cobb Galleria Centre April 27 & 28, 2018. After reviewing examples of classes that have been hosted at Pinners Conferences in the past, it was clear to see that they did not have a shortage of lettering/calligraphy classes! That’s when I knew I wanted to take this opportunity to teach something I have yet to do in an in-person class format: wood signs.

Holy cow is this going to be an undertaking but I am so excited! I’ve decided to specifically teach how to create a 10x10 inch hand-lettered “home sweet home” wood sign. The signs will all be pre-stained for the students so that we don’t have to deal with the super messy & inconvenient part of the process.

Throughout 2016 I found myself dreaming about the idea of creating an online course for fellow, as well as aspiring, creatives and artists. As a calligrapher and letterer, I was inclined to (at first) think about creating something calligraphy related.
